ChargeCore SafeCharge Max Reviewed by Digital Reviews Network

In a recent hands-on review, Digital Reviews Network tested Australia's first LiFePO₄-based powerbank from Laser's ChargeCore sub-brand. Their verdict? It's a safer, smarter step forward for portable charging tech.

The review highlights the benefits of lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries, including:

  • Thermal stability to prevent overheating or fire risk
  • Up to 5,000 charge cycles — five times more than regular lithium-ion
  • Environmentally safer: no cobalt, nickel, or lead
  • Fast charging: 85% capacity in under 90 minutes

Reviewer Kevin Cheng tested both the 10,000mAh model and the 5,000mAh option. With USB-C PD 20W output, triple ports, and an LED percentage display, the SafeCharge Max proved ideal for everyday carry and travel — offering peace of mind along with power.

The 20,000mAh version rounds out the range for heavy users needing extended capacity.
